Prayers for Paul at church in Douglas

by isleofman.com 11th June 2010

TT fans and friends of a popular rider from New Zealand will remember him in their prayers at St Ninian's Church today (Friday).

Paul Dobbs died from injuries received when he came off his machine at Ballagarey in yesterday afternoon's Supersport race.

A minute's silence in his memory was held at the start of last night's prize presentation, and St Ninian's, at the top of Bray Hill, is open all day today for anybody who needs to reflect on his passing.

Paul Dobbs was an experienced rider, who first competed on the mountain circuit in 1999.

He was married, with two children.
