Manx military personnel are set to receive a heroes' welcome later this month.
They will lead the Armed Forces Day parade on Sunday, June 27, when the Island will remember those who have served, and are serving, their country.
One of the local organisers, Brigadier Norman Butler, is sure there will be a warn reception for the homecoming troops (play audio file):
Manx men and women serving in the Forces who want to take part can contact Brigadier Butler on 813338.
They can apply for free tickets from the Villa Marina, the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal, all town commissioners' offices, the public libraries in Douglas and Ramsey, and Royal British Legion branch secretaries.
