Electric powered motorbikes return to the mountain circuit today, in TT Zero.
Last year's inaugural clean emissions event, the TTXGP, proved to be a huge success, and this afternoon riders will be aiming for the first 100mph lap.
The MotoCzysz team is hotly tipped for the honour, with a ?10,000 prize from the Manx government up for grabs.
TT Zero competitor James McBride, who will be on the Manx entry ManTTx, says it's very similar to riding a petrol engined machine (play audio file):
TT Zero is due to start at 4.30pm, and will be contested over a single lap of the mountain course.
