Police aim for accident-free TT fortnight

A senior officer from the Isle of Man Constabulary's Road Policing Unit believes the joint road safety campaign with the Department of Infrastructure has been effective this year.

There has been one fatal accident, and a least one other in which a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries, but so far the overall the number of incidents is down on TT fortnight last year.

Inspector Mark Britton says it's difficult to say why that is, but he won't be happy until there are no accidents at all:
