The League of Friends of Ramsey Cottage Hospital is having a recruitment drive.
It's hoping to raise the profile of the group and swell the ranks of its 150 life members.
On June 19, committee members will be at the entrance to the Shoprite store in Ramsey looking to sign up new members and volunteers.
Chairman Leonard Singer says the group has raised significant sums in recent years to buy valuable equipment for the hospital, which the Department of Health wouldn't otherwise have been able to fund.
