Plans for new outdoor changing block at NSC

by isleofman.com 7th June 2010
TYNWALD will be asked to approve the spending of ?600,000 for the replacement of the NSC outdoor changing block.

The outdoor changing block is the oldest structure at the NSC and has been used over many decades as the changing rooms and showers for numerous sports, particularly football. It was also used as the changing facility for football finals on the adjacent Bowl pitch.

David Cretney, the Minister for Community, Culture and Leisure, will move the proposal to Tynwald next week. It is not expected that there will be any major objections to the scheme.

The scheme was outlined in the Budget earlier this year.
