by isleofman.com 3rd June 2010

A biker was taken to Noble's Hospital after an accident on the Mountain Road at lunchtime on Thursday.

It happened at the 27th milestone, at around 12.35pm, and involved the one machine.

The man's injuries were said to be non-life threatening.

The Mountain Road had only been open for a matter of minutes following an emergency road closure earlier in the morning to clear an oil spill.
