Cash rolls in at Charity Aid gig

Organisers of a big charity concert which has kicked off the TT festival for the last five years say they made almost ?5,000 this year.

Manx Charity Aid held the event at Bushy's Beer Tent on Douglas Promenade on Sunday.

Twelve bands took to the stage over twelve hours to raise money for good causes on the Island.

There was a slight hitch last year, when the gig had to be moved at the last minute, but Tina Edge says this year's fundraising went well:
