Police investigate 'Monster' thefts

Police are looking for thieves who stole five advertising banners featuring the name of one of the main sponsors of TT 2010.

Two 'Monster Energy' banners were taken from the Bray Hill area of Douglas, and three more from the start and finish line in nearby Glencrutchery Road.

The missing items are black and green in colour and measure five metres by one metre.

Poice say removing such items is a criminal offence anyone caught doing so, or found to have them in their possession, will be prosecuted.

Anybody with information on the thefts is asked to ring Poice Headquarters on 631212.
