Fundraiser smitten by TT plans return visit

by isleofman.com 2nd June 2010

A visitor from Birmingham says he's totally sold on the TT, before a race has been run, after bringing his vintage sidecar outfit to the Isle of Man on a charity mission.

Sixty-eight-year-old Tim Rhys-Roberts is touring the British Isles on a 1927 Royal Enfield Model 186 and sidecar, to raise money for the cancer centres and charities which helped his late wife, Wendy, who lost her battle with the disease last year.

He has already turned heads and made new friends after discovering first-hand the special atmosphere among bikers during TT fortnight.

Tim was asked what brought him to the Island?
