POLICE are on the hunt for vandals who damaged the front door window of a house in Somerset Road, Douglas over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The incident happened at around 10.50pm on Saturday night (May 29th) and Constable Ben Horan from Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is keen to hear from witnesses or anyone who was in the area at the time.
RAMSEY Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of criminal damage to a large shop window at Corlett’s Opticians, Parliament Street, Ramsey at about 8.15pm on Saturday (May 29th).
“This was a very obvious incident of criminal damage in a busy street. The police are grateful to those members of the public who have already come forward as witnesses but would like to hear from any other person who was in Parliament Street at that time and may have seen the incident or associated activity.”

POLICE are also investigating a report of criminal damage to the bowling green at Douglas Bowling Club in Douglas which happened three weeks ago.
The damage was caused between 4.00pm on Friday 7th May and 9.0am on Saturday 8th May 2010.
Between these times youths have thrown and smashed a number of beer and spirit bottles onto the bowling green and broken a number of wooden bench type seats.
Police Constable Stewart Footer of the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is interested in speaking to any person who may have information as to those responsible for this damage.
