Mountain Road now one way

by isleofman.com 30th May 2010

The Mountain Road has reopened, with the one way system now in effect from Ramsey Hairpin to the Creg-ny-Baa.

Work to install the system was hampered yesterday by the poor weather, with an extended closure through the afternoon so it could be completed.

It then remained shut after last night's shortened TT practice session for safety reasons, as the rain and mist made driving conditions up there dangerous.

The Mountain Road will remain one way for the duration of TT fortnight, as has become customary in the last few years.
