Douglas assault probed by police

A man was assaulted in King Street in Douglas just before 12.30am on Saturday.

He was treated at Noble's Hospital for injuries to his face, before being allowed to go home.

Police want to speak to a man seen fleeing the scene.

He's described as being in his 30s, of average build, with closely cropped light coloured hair and speaks with an Eastern European accent.

He was wearing a grey shirt and grey trousers at the time.
