Billown victory for Yorkshire pensioner

by isleofman.com 29th May 2010

An 82 year-old Yorkshireman made the headlines on the opening day of TT 2010.

Ted Fenwick led the 250cc race from start to finish in the Blackfords Pre-TT Classic on the Billown Circuit.

A racer for 40 years, it was his third win in the class and he was very reserved after crossing the line.

Roger Birkenhead was second with newcomer Bob Millinship, also on a Ducati, in third.
