Today's Mountain Road closure has been extended until at least 5pm.
The Department of Infrastructure says its work to prepare the road for becoming one way have been hampered by the poor weather.
The DoI says as the Mountain Road is due to close for the practice period for the TT races at 5pm then the road will effectively be shut until the end of the session this evening as per the published times.
