One-way system on mountain coming in

by isleofman.com 29th May 2010

With TT 2010 due to get under way with the first practice session this evening (Saturday), arrangements are being made for the now traditional on-way traffic system to be introduced on the mountain section of the course.

The mountain part of the circuit is closing at 10am today so signs can be put into position.

It is reopening, with the one-way system in operation in the direction of the course, not later than 2pm.

The one-way system, between Ramsey Hairpin and Creg-ny-Baa, will remain in force throughout TT fortnight.

Two-way traffic will be reintroduced not later than 2pm on Monday, June 14, when the mountain section will close at 10am for the removal of the signage.

The TT course closes at 6pm today (Saturday) for the opening practice session, with the first bikes due to get away from the grandstand at 6.20pm.

The mountain section will close to traffic at 5pm.
