Liverpool man held after major drugs seizure

Police say they’re holding a Merseyside man in custody after a major drugs seizure at the Sea Terminal last night.

The 40-year-old from Liverpool has been arrested on suspicion of possessing and producing class A drugs and possessing them with intent to supply.

Officers say the seizure is a large amount and the man was arrested shortly after the evening boat to the Island docked.

No further details have been released.
