A 36-year-old Douglas man who had child pornography on his mobile phones has been jailed for 10 months.
Steven Brian Hills, of Mona Terrace, admitted four counts of possessing indecent images of children and four of distributing them, some of them being in the most serious category.
The prosecution said he was arrested last November, his mobiles were examined and the pictures found.
Hills' advocate told the court his client had had an interest in children for about a year, and had been offered the images.
Hills has been placed on Sex Offenders Register for five years, in addition to the prison sentence.
