MLC confident ?2.5m TT film is a good investment

If the new 3D movie of the TT being shot during this year's festival proves as a big hit at the box office as is hoped, a whole new generation of TT fans could be created!

Specialist crews have been on the Island, along with the film's director Richard De Aragues, preparing to capture the action and excitement of the races.

It's a ?2.5 million project by Isle of Man Film, an in-house production by Cinema NX, commissed just as 3D movies are going 'big' on the movie circuit.

Alex Downie, MLC, has responsibility for the Island's film industry at the Department of Economic Development.
