Peel double up on cups

by isleofman.com 24th May 2010

Peel won Sunday night's Hospital Cup Final at The Bowl beating Old Boys 2-1.

It means the westerners have won two of the four major pieces of silverware in Manx Football this season - they claimed the Railway Cup on Boxing Day.

Daniel Bell scored both their goals - the first right on the half-timer whistle.

Old Boys mounted a spirited fight-back and Callum Stewart was on target - they had several chances to take the match into extra-time.

And Peel keeper Kelvin Dawson produced a stunning save late on.

Peel Manager Rick Holden is already setting his players a big target for next season:-
