Venue Concern in Delhi

by isleofman.com 6th May 2010

Just a week after the Isle of Man confirmed it would be sending a team to this year's Commonwealth Games in Delhi, there is fresh concern about venues being ready in time.

Organisers are particularly worried that the athletics stadium, swimming complex and Games Village have still not been completed with just five months to go.

38 issues in all have been described as still "critical", an improvement on the 70 named in a report last December.

The Commonwealth Games open on Sunday 3rd October.
