'No regrets' as Bethany is forced to retire

Manx ultra athlete Bethany Clague says massive fatigue and back pain forced her out of a gruelling run from John O'Groats to Land's End.

Bethany pulled out of the JOGLE event early on Monday, having covered 175 miles in three days.

She still hopes to raise sponsorship money for homeless charities on the Island.

Eight of the other 12 runners have also been forced to retire from the most extreme event of its kind in Britain.

Bethany reckons she did well even to start the run and has no regrets:
