PB for Garrett in Peel to Douglas success

Mike Garrett of Manx Harriers set a personal best as he won the Isle of Man Bank Peel to Douglas run.

He finished in a time of 57 minutes 32 seconds.

Second place went to Western AC's Ben Scott just under a minute behind in 58m 27s with Murray Lambden third over the 10 mile course.

The first woman home, for the second year in a row, was Samantha Cowen of Manx Harriers.

She finished 17th overall in a field of 51 athletes in a time of one hour 11m 18s. Mickey Swindale of Manx Tri Club finished second with Manx Harrier Sally Walker in third.
