Litter pick in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 1st May 2010

There's your chance to help tidy up Ramsey on Sunday (May 2).

The first of several pre-holiday season litter picks gets underway at 2pm.

Volunteers are meeting at Shoprite carpark by the recycling bins.

Groups will be working throughout the week cleaning up out of the way areas of the town with litter picks taking place on Wednesday (May 5) between 6 and 8pm, Sunday (May 9) 2pm – 4pm and the following Wednesday (May 12) from 6- 8pm.

Litter pickers, gloves and bin bags will be provided.

Organisers say last year's event was a great success and they hope volunteers will come forward to give what time they can spare to improve neglected areas near in and around Ramsey town centre.
