St John's resident hits fame on Radio 2

ST JOHN'S resident Angela Leavey had her moment of fame when she was the listener selected by Radio 2 presenter Steve Wright to choose her favourite music for the station's "Non-Stop Oldies" feature on the afternoon programme today (Friday April 30th).

Angela's choice of music - including Oasis, Marvyn Gaye, The Smiths and Radio Head - was selected by Steve Wright from the many thousands contributed each day on his popular show which attracts millions of listeners each weekday.
