Investigations continue into fatal collision

by isleofman.com 29th April 2010

Officers investigating a fatal road traffic collision near to the Creg by Baa are still trying to identify a car seen shortly before the accident.

36 year old motorcyclist David Charles Lees from Santon lost his life in the incident which happened around 2.45pm on April 18th.

Police say they've had a "phenomenal" response to their appeals so far and are thanking members of the public for their crucial evidence.

However, they still want to trace a black or dark-coloured UK registered car which was travelling from Hillberry towards the Creg ny Baa immediately prior to the collision.

It's thought the driver of the vehicle may have information which would assist police enquiries.

If you know who that person may be or have any information in relation to the collision you should contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
