Speak Up for Good Customer Service

by isleofman.com 23rd April 2010

Isle of Man Tourism is appealing to residents and visitors to speak up about positive customer service they have received on the Island.

Nominations for the 2010 Tourism Awards are now open and residents and visitors are being asked to identify local businesses and organisations that have provided an enjoyable holiday experience for visitors to the Isle of Man.

Director of Isle of Man Tourism, Rod Nipper said, "The Tourism Awards are an important date in the calendar as they are crucial in recognising outstanding quality and service in the Tourism Industry.

"I would urge all residents and visitors who have had good positive customer service to shout about it."

This year nomination cards have been distributed to even more locations around the Island ensuring it’s even easier to vote.

Cards can be found at the Manx Welcome Centre in the Sea Terminal, all Manx National Heritage sites, Ronaldsway airport, Curraghs Wildlife Park, Railway Stations, Douglas Town Hall and certain Commissioners offices around the Island.

There is also the option to vote online by logging on to www.visitisleofman.com.

Visitors are also requested to fill out the 2010 Visitor Survey which is included on the nomination card.

This is important in gaining information about visitors to the Island and asks questions relating to how they booked their trip, choice of accommodation and attractions visited whilst here.

As an added incentive, visitors who fill in the survey will be eligible to enter a competition to win a luxury weekend break to the Isle of Man.

Nominations for the 2010 Tourism Awards close on the 31st October 2010.
