Rejuvenation project begins at cathedral

Renowned artist Stephen Broadbent is on the Island from today, advising how the area around Peel Cathedral can be rejuvenated.

Mr Broadbent is famous for his work on the 'River of Life', which was part of Warrington's efforts to deal with the aftermath of an IRA Bomb in 1993.

He will be working with local artists to come up with ideas on how the cathedral grounds can be made more attractive.

Canon Nigel Godfrey, the vice dean, is hoping the designs will celebrate the Island's Christian heritage:
