Candidates go head-to-head for seat!

by isleofman.com 22nd April 2010

Voters in Peel go to the polls today (Thursday) to decide who will replace former commissioner Iaen Skidmore on the board.

He stepped down last month, citing work commitments, which set the stage for the town's second election inside six months.

This time it's a two-horse race, involving businessman Ian Davison and chartered accountant Neil Cushing.

The polling station is at the Corrin Hall in Derby Road, and the standard voting hours will apply, from 8am to 8pm.
