Teenage boy asked to ring police

Police are appealing for information about the whereabouts of a teenager who has gone missing from his home in the Willaston area.

Fifteen-year-old Michael Gerrard was last seen on Saturday afternoon.

Police are asking Michael to ring them on 631212 to let them know he is safe and well.

Anybody who knows where he is, or has seen him recently, is also asked to get in touch.

Michael is described as about five feet, seven inches tall, of medium build, with a fair complexion and short, dark brown hair.

It's being stressed that Michael is not in any sort of trouble.
