The Isle of Man is being marketed as a 'great getaway' for people in the United Kingdom who have become tired of all the political campaigning sweeping the nation.
The tourism arm of the Department of Economic Development has launched the campaign, describing the Island as 'the only election free zone in the British Isles'.
And, in something reminiscent of the 'Germans' episode of Fawlty Towers, Manx hoteliers have been told: 'don't mention the election'.
