Airport closed all day Sunday

Ronaldsway Airport and the airspace above the Isle of Man have been closed again, until further notice. 

yesterday (Saturday) Manx2.com was able to operate some services, at lower altitude, to Belfast and Blackpool, taking advantage of what the authorities called 'a window of opportunity'.

However, by midnight the plume from the volcanic eruption in Iceland was expected be directly above the Island and, speaking on Saturday evening, airport director Ann Reynolds told Manx Radio that meant there would be no services to and from the Isle of Man on Sunday:
