Manx airspace reopened for the time being

by isleofman.com 17th April 2010

A window of opportunity has opened for air passengers here on the Isle of Man, with confirmation Manx airspace has reopened - for the time being at least.

The decision was taken just before ten to two, Airport Director Anne Reynolds has told Manx Radio, with it staying open until further notice.

She says they can't say when that'll be, but the weather is looking good until about 7pm, according to the latest information from the Volcanic Advisory Centre.

Meanwhile, Manx2.com has started operating its shuttle services to Belfast and Blackpool again.
