Man hurt in 'unprovoked' attack

A man who launched an unprovoked attack on another man on Central Promenade in Douglas last night is being sought by police.

Officers say a 25-year-old was punched outside Texas Fried Chicken at around quarter to midnight.

He suffered head injuries, that are not believed to be serious, and went to Noble's Hospital for treatment.

Police are looking for a man who they describe as skinny, in his late teens or early twenties, about 5’ 10” tall, with very greasy, curly brown hair.

He was wearing a white track suit top and blue jeans at the time of the attack.

Any witnesses, or anyone who knows the man police are looking for, are asked to call Pc Andy McKillop at Police Headquarters on 631212.
