Mephedrone officially a Class B drug

The former 'legal high' drug mephedrone today becomes the latest substance to be banned in the United Kingdom, with the Isle of Man automatically following suit.

Legislation to restrict its importation and sale was brought in on the Island at the start of the month, and the change in UK law means it's now a fully illegal, Class B drug.

Director of the Island's Drug Advice Service and Helpline Shelly Stanley says a number of other substances have also been banned:
