Premier league plan fails to attract support

Proposals to shake up football in the Isle of Man, to avoid end of season fixture logjams, have been rejected by the Manx FA.

Earlier this week, the Football Association met and discussed ways to tackle the problems caused by postponements due to weather.

This year, up to 80 games still have to be played across the four divisions because of the harsh winter.

Vice-president of the FA Tony Mepham told Manx Radio two plans were put forward on Tuesday night:
