by isleofman.com 15th April 2010

Lifeboats from Douglas, Port Erin and Port St Mary were launched this morning after a report that two divers were missing off the Calf of Man.

A helicopter was also scrambled by Coastguard in Liverpool who co-ordinated the operation and a coastguard team from Port Erin was also called out.

However the divers were found a short time later after surfacing and all vessels were stood down at around 10.15am.

The divers were met by the Port Erin Coastguard team when they come ashore to see if any medical treatment was required.
