Better Weekend for Toseland

by isleofman.com 13th April 2010

Port Soderick based James Toseland was the leader of the Isle of Man resident pack at Round Three of the World Superbike Championship at Valencia.

He got himself back on the podium for the first time since returning to the series with a third place in Race One and followed up with 7th in Race Two.

His Yamaha team-mate Cal Crutchlow, who has just moved to the Isle of Man, managed 7th and 9th places.

Peel resident Australian Andrew Pitt brought the B.M.W. home in 15th and 16th.

The weekend results mean James Toseland has moved up to 6th in the overall standings.
