Longer running hours for trams

Douglas Borough Council says it has responded to criticism over last year's horse tram schedules.

The trams will be out on the promenade for the first time this year about a month from now, and will have longer running hours.

Last year the council decided to start and finish services later than usual, drawing criticism from some quarters.

Chairman Stephen Pitts says the Leisure Services committee has gone for a different approach in 2010:
