Inflation in the Isle of Man last month rose to its highest level for more than a year.
Figures from the Manx Treasury show the annual rate for March was five per cent, up from 4.8 per cent in February.
Inflation has climbed rapidly since dropping below zero last summer, and the latest figure is the highest since December 2008.
According to the government, the biggest price rises over the last year have come in motoring, up nine per cent, and clothing, up 8.7 per cent.
