Conclusion of 'rigorous' OFT investigation

The cost of petrol in the Isle of Man is not the result of profiteering by fuel companies.

That's the main conclusion in a report by the Office of Fair Trading, after a two-year investigation into high prices.

The report, published today, concludes petrol station profits have actually decreased since 2005, despite the cost of petrol rising year-on-year.
