Fuel price report published

by isleofman.com 8th April 2010

A report into the cost of liquid fuel in the Isle of Man is being released today (Thursday).

An investigation was launched by the Office of Fair Trading, following complaints by motorists about sudden price rises.

Last month the OFT concluded they were in line with increases in the United Kingdom, and were caused by the poor performance of the pound against the dollar and the cost of wholesale refined oil.

The full report report is being released at midday.
