Police are investigating an assault in Douglas at the weekend, which left a man in hospital.
It happened between 3am and 4.30am on Saturday, between the Hilton Hotel and Palace Road.
The victim, a 34-year-old from the town, received injuries to his face, head, arms and legs and stayed in hospital overnight.
The suspect is described as white, around six feet tall, with short dark hair.
He was wearing blue jeans, a pastel coloured striped shirt and a navy pin-striped jacket.
Police are appealing for witnesses and would also like to speak to anybody who thinks they might know who carried out the attack.
