by isleofman.com 6th April 2010

Staff at Standard Bank have recently raised over ?560 through their monthly office ‘dress down day’ charity collections.

Dawn Herbert of Oskar’s Dreams and Pamela Shimwell-Mayo of the IOM Parkinson’s Society were presented with cheques, their charities having been nominated by bank staff members Nikki Sperring and Charmian McMorris.

John Coyle, Managing Director of Standard Bank, said, "We are delighted to make these donations to two very deserving causes.

"Fundraising in the office is an important way of giving something back to the community and every three months a new charity is chosen by the staff to benefit from their efforts."
