Minister hits the ground running

The new treasury minister hopes the Isle of Man can earn its way out of economic hardship.

Anne Craine took over the top job at the department from fellow Ramsey MHK Allan Bell on April 1, when the new structure of government came into force.

She says she has worked closely with officers to hit the ground running, and one of her immediate concerns is the state of government finances.

Mrs Craine says there are a variety of ways to make sure the books balance:
