Woman hospitalised after Colours assault

A woman was taken to hospital with head injuries after being assaulted outside a Douglas nightclub in the early hours of this morning.

The 21-year-old from Douglas was attacked in the smoking area of Colours at about 12.50am.

She was treated at Noble's and released a short time later.

A 19-year-old Douglas woman has been arrested and is helping police with their enquiries.

Officers say there were plenty of people in the smoking area at the time of the assault and are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
