'Egg-straordinary' goings-on in the south!

A Ballasalla chicken keeper is gathering more than his fair share of eggs this Easter.

Last week a hen owned by Don Jones laid a huge specimen, just a fraction smaller than the world's largest hen egg, as listed in the Guinness Book of Records.

Now one of his flock has laid another very large egg.

It means there will be no shortage of eggs at Don's Easter breakfast table, as they each contain up to four yolks.

Don says he could hardly believe his eyes when he went to gather eggs from the bottom of his garden:
