Shennaghys Jiu is continuing today (Sunday) in the north and west of the Island.
The annual festival attracts musicians from across the Celtic nations, with this year's participants including Riobo from Galicia and Achrann from Ireland, along with numerous Manx performers.
At the start of the festival on Thursday, committee member Anthony Cross - a teacher at Dhoon Primary School - said the involvement of groups like Riobo was a great spur for the next generation of musicians (play audio file):
Today there's an 'unplugged' session at St John's Church at 2.30pm, and a Ceilidh at the Masonic Hall in Ramsey at 8.30pm.
