Six of the Best for Thompson

by isleofman.com 3rd April 2010

Paul Thompson of the Clayton Le Moors club has won the Manx Mountain Marathon for the sixth time in the last seven years.

In difficult conditions, times were slower after all the recent rain and snow.

Thompson is now the equal best performer in the 40-year history of the event:-

Sports Editor Tim Glover was in Port Erin for the finish:-

Ian Ridgeway finished second and Manxman Ian Gale completed the podium in third.

And there was home success in the Half Marathon with Lloyd Taggart taking the honours.
