Forensic team investigates woman's death

The coroner of inquests has been informed, after a woman collapsed and died at her home, on Good Friday. 

All three emergency services were sent to the house, at the junction of Westmoreland Road and Hillside Avenue in Douglas, at around 11am.

The property was cordoned off for a time, while a joint investigation was carried out by police forensic officers and investigators from the Fire and Rescue Service.

They were able to confirm there were no suspicious circumstances.

Police say members of the woman's family have been informed.
